Giving to Central Lutheran
Your gifts make it possible for us to have a pastor and a place to worship, that we might share with the world the answer to its greatest need…Jesus.
Also, when you give an offering or a donation to Central, you support more than just the ministry of one congregation. As people who believe that God has been generous to us and calls us to generosity, we give a tithe (10% of what we receive) away to God’s work through various agencies and charities. We support:
the efforts of the ELCA globally and across the country by sharing part of what you give with the larger church;
those who work with kids by regular financial support to Lutherhaven, our Bible camp on Lake Coeur d’Alene;
those who need extra help due to their circumstances in life, be they victims of abuse or crime, mental illness, addiction, or homelessness. As a congregation, we give to agencies like Lutheran Community Services, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Meals on Wheels among others.
